Hoi An

Hoi An is a historical city on the coast of central Vietnam.  The other 6 shakies and I stopped there for a couple days, and met up with our friend Sim, who we'd met in Hanoi.  A great time was had in this eminently photogenic town.

Finally we found a place where we could avoid paying tourist prices for the food.

Hoi An was romantically lit everywhere by beautiful lanterns such as these.

Posing by the riverside.

Minseong and his shenanigans.

Short and tall.

I borrowed a baby for this photo.

Enough cheesy photos already!

Ugly suit shop!

Lanterns everywhere.

Hoi An riverside at night.

I was awake during the day too, but this puppy wasn't.

Crack and mold encrusted wall with lanterns.

This grandma was cute, but her asking price was astronomical!

Mike buys a piece of wood with a face on it.

This kind of thing doesn't really exist outside of touristy areas.

Bye Sim, thanks for hanging out with us!
